Strengths
Our app makes the process of clothes shopping less tedious by providing users with clothing from multiple websites and apps in a single place.
Our app can compare sites and will offer users multiple prices from different retailers on each item, this allows users to get the clothing they like at the best price available.
Our app will use Cookies to target products at specific users that are more likely to purchase the product.
Our app may also be able to feature exclusive items that are unavailable anywhere else, if we make deals with retailers.
Our app has the potential to integrate with other popular apps such as Instagram, Snapchat and the users personal Calendars as ways to increase interaction with the audience.
Weaknesses
The products on our app are subject to the availability of the retailers, meaning we aren’t in full control.
In order to make money on actual clothing sales we would need to take a cut off any purchase, meaning we would need to charge more than the retailers would. For example, River Island might be selling a shirt for £18 and in order to make a profit we would need to sell it for £20. The result of this is that users may just buy straight from the retailers instead of our app.
The app will require constant updates and maintenance to keep the content relevant, this will require a large team of people and so more wages must be paid.
Individual users won’t buy clothes everyday meaning we will need a constant stream of new users in order to maintain a consistent cash flow.
Opportunities

Threats
Potential backlash from diverting traffic from brands websites.
May be deemed gimmicky or cheesy.
Issues getting stock and partnerships with retailers before app launch.
Some users are against phone shopping.
