I created Holly a Facebook page for her brand using the logos and banners she already had. I created the page on March 3rd and sent out invitations to like the page to 100 people. The campaign went live on March 6th by which point we had 59 page likes 70-page views and an average of 60 people reached on the one post we had uploaded.
Within the first week we put up 3 posts and gained a huge interaction compared to the other platforms, post reach shot up to 443, however, we only gained 8 page likes.
We didn’t keep up with Facebook anywhere near as much as we did with Instagram and looking back we should have linked the accounts so anything posteed to Instagram automatically uploaded to Facebook.
The first week was by far the best week in the campaign for the Facebook page because the rest of the weeks had next to no impact, followers started slowing and page reach started dropping drastically. This could be down to inactivity and lack of posts, but I think what has happened is we had such an influx at the start with mine and Holly’s friends liking the page and as that started to die down it became harder to reach a further audience.
